Bynum School, located between Midland and Odessa, is the only public or private school in West Texas that provides an uninterrupted continuum of year round services to students who have special needs age 3 to adulthood. Bynum School currently enrolls students, from the Permian Basin, who exhibit intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), various learning disabilities, unique and rare syndromes, and medical fragility. Most students exhibit multiple handicapping conditions.
The mission of Bynum School drives decision making. “With God’s grace, Bynum School, remaining committed to the ideals of dignity and respect, will provide personalized educational programs to meet the academic, behavioral, and vocational needs of individuals of all ages with special needs.”
The 1st Annual West Texas Oilman's Fall Classic benefitting The Bynum School was held on August 31, 2018, at Hogan Park in Midland, Texas. The tournament raised over $20,000 that went directly to the school through tournament fees, raffles, and gun boards.
Two of Bynum's students were able to participate in the event and received special recognition and prizes.
There were over 30 Sponsors and 288 players and we are hoping for more this year!
The 2nd Annual West Texas Oilman's Spring Classic, "Tee Off For Bynum", will be held on March 7, 2019, at Hogan Park.
We have added two tee times and a Concert Benefit after the tournament. All levels of sponsorships are available.

Texas Country's Phil Hamilton Band will be playing at The Shack In The Back, in Odessa, on Thursday, March 7. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Golf awards, raffle, and a LIVE Auction will take place before the band hits the stage.
